Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah and I live in Norfolk (and I'm jealous of all those of you that live in Scotland!). I'm married to Murray and we have a little girl called Amy (although she has recently decided she would rather have been called "Herbal Essences", oh well....!!!!!).

I set up my own business (www.PhotoFairytales.co.uk) as I wanted to get back to work, but needed to find something that would fit around home life. I also wanted to do something I ENJOYED! I used to work in theatre marketing and publishing, but I love running PhotoFairytales. It's a great outlet for my creative flow, plus it gives me a chance to be super organised (or "anal" as Murray calls it!) - oh, and shop for lovely box files to store things in! Seriously though, if you're thinking about working on your own business from home I would recommend it...

Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

All the best, Sarah x

Hi, I'm Gail and I live in a little village near Leamington Spa in Warwickshire with my husband, 3 girls aged 11, 9 and 6. I work from home running Stallfinder, a website for stallholders, events, fundraising ideas and party plan/direct sales.
I recognise a few names on here already.
Gail.

Hi, I'm Nadia from Kent. I'm 26 next month and have two children, a daughter - Kacey who is 5 and a son - Kaiden who turns 2 next month. I separated from their dad in September last year but have been in a new, slow-moving relationship for just over a year now.

I enjoy listening to music, and handcrafting items, knitting and cardmaking are my two biggest things at the moment!

Look forward to meeting you all!

There's a funny story about Kaiden's name actually. he was James most of the way through my pregnancy but I never thought it suited him, or fitted right next to Kacey's name. 2 weeks before I was due, the ex bought a game for the Xbox360 - Mass Effect. One of the Characters on there was called Kaidan and I fell in love with it, though I didn't like the spelling. Kaiden couldn't be a James now, though it is his middle name :)

And thanks for the welcome!

Yeh my Kaden was Connor all the way up until he arrived. I had heard the name Kaden on a birthing programme and loved it straight away too!

Hubby wasnt so sure as he thought is sounded strange :0) but I convinced him in the end and so 20mins after he arrived he was Kaden Scott (after his daddy) I know a lot spell it Kayden too but I always thought it looked feminine with a 'Y' in it??? Maybe just me!

There so many varients of it now though but 4 years ago it was still very new and some mums that I met along the way thought they had 'invented' it themselves hehe nope cos my son older than yours so you cant have lol

But it is a lovely name though and so is Kacey, my cousins daughter is called that too.

I thought exactly that about Kayden! Kacey went to nursery with a boy called Kayden too, was the first time I'd heard it after mine. The sister of someone I went to school with also has a Kaden. I also love that both my kids have fairly unisex names.

Hi I'm Kirsty
Based in the gorgeous Dumfries & Galloway up in the hills! Fantastic on a lovely day....but not so good in the middle of a bad winter!

Mum of two lovely wee boys - aged nearly three and just turned one, and wife of a Workaholic farmer.

I used to work as a Manager in the NHS until I left to have my second son - the option of a one hour commute each way -every day - plus an on-call arrangement with two children made it unviable to return. Have now set up as an Independent Consultant with Linen at Home http://linenathome.co.uk/bykirsty which I love! Being able to work as and when I want and can work make it a much more manageable home life. Wish I'd done it when I had my first son and saved myself a lot of stress!!!

Like to spend time with my family and friends, and currently renovating a new (but very old!) house.

Would love to hear from some of you out there!

Kirsty
