I'm Sharon and ever so proud of Tracey for creating this fabulous site for me to ramble on!
(Open a door and I'm in there)

I live in Inverness with my cherubs Robyn 9(F) Jaden 7(F) & Coran 8months(M)

Have worked as a nursery nurse in the local hozzi for 14 years and my hobbies include music, driving, cinema and the odd night out.

Looking forward to making new friends and possibly catching up with old ones.

Hi,
I'm Gillian and I live in a small village in Lanarkshire, i'm 37, and I am separated. I live with my two sons Liam who's 7 and Sean who's 4.
I havent worked since having Sean because my bowel was badly damaged during his birth so i have been back in hospital a number of times, but I worked in St. Andrew's Hospice as a nurse for the past 18 yrs up until I went on maternity leave.

Yes me too, i'm almost there, i had an ileostomy for two yrs so it was reversed last june so here's hoping i'm nearly ready for work. I would have expected to have been back already but dear separated hubby decided he wanted out so it totally floored me, plus i couldnt have left the boys, so i just stayed put.

Men!!.....dont get me started,lol
Its not easy holding down a job and a family when on your own but us women are good at multi tasking so given some organisation and lots of patience we manage to juggle everything just fine.
Do your boys get on well together?

Sounds familiar...there is 2 years between the girls and now that they are 9& 7 its very obvious the eldest is producing hormones and doesnt like the same as her sister. The get on most of the time but the "friends thing" usually creates a divide in our house too. Thats when Jaden usually gives in trying to please her sister and stays in with myself and Coran.

Hi I'm Emma, I'm 30 and live in Nairn with my lovely fiance David (46) and my 4 lovely kids Brandon 11, Rhys 10, Kane 8 and Hayleigh whos 4.
The last year or so has been a bit rough, I was married to my kids dad for 9 years but things didn't work out between us and it was having an impact on the kids so decided to go our seperate ways, he now lives in Glasgow. I then met David who is absolutely brilliant with the kids then a few months into our relationship he was diagnosed with bladder cancer, luckily it was a low grade and following treatment he now goes back every 3 months for checks (the next one is Wednesday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed he gets the all clear again).
We moved house (just locally) in May and love it!
Dave has 4 kids also from a previous relationship Kimberly 22, David 19, Ashleigh 15 and Gordon 14.
Other than that im currently a SAHM, I was doing bar work but following an accident and a misdiagnoses have been left with severe arthritis in my leg so had to give it up. Not too sure how I would work it around Daves hours just now anyway as he is a lorry driver.

Look forward to getting to know everyone

Hi Emma, dont think I've said hello.
Your story has given me inspiration after having a couple of failed long term relationships and now on my own with my 3 cherubs.
I have no interest in looking for a partner after all the "s**t" dealt with in the past 6 years but would like to think some day I might trust a man again and not be left on the shelf in my old age.

Hello everyone!

I am Michelle, mother to 2 (not so) darling children Alissa (20mths) and Morgan(6).

I currently moonlight for the nhs whilst running my own Bath and body business, it's been a slog but things are on the up. I am a bit of a party girl but age is now getting the better of me and I can't take the pace anymore, friday night and a glass or 2 of vino with friends has to do these days.

Look forward to getting to know you all x
